Which piece caught your eye?
Spot it in your feed → share to Looksy. Each original illustration has a Send to Looksy button. The outfit appears in the chat, followed by typing dots and “Which piece caught your eye?”
Pick the piece. The everyday layer offers Jacket and Sunnies. A slower afternoon offers Dress and Bag. Off-duty uniform offers Hoodie and Cap.
Read the match. Looksy explains uncertainty before showing two labelled example cards: a best guess and a similar style. Each piece has different illustrations. There are no real merchants, prices or reviews in this demo.
Try another look. Back returns to the feed. Replay demonstrates the current outfit. Play demo loops through the looks; Pause holds the current frame. Choosing a piece stops automatic playback. “View listing” explains that real listings open in your Instagram DM.
How it works
Send @trylooksy an outfit photo or video in Instagram DMs — a mirror shot, a screenshot, a store fitting room clip.
Looksy detects the garments in the image and shows you chips for each one. Tap the piece you want to find.
Explore real listing links from stores, check price and availability at the retailer, and buy there.
Check the details. Buy from the retailer.
Another store or a similar style. Know which.
A screenshot, a post, a clip. Send the look.
Lives on Instagram. Easy as a message.
A little more Looksy
The full journey: sending the look, picking a piece, reading the match, and buying from the retailer — with a worked example.
The “where's that from?” moment, why Instagram, why clothes first, and what a genuinely useful answer should look like.
Same item elsewhere, resale versus retail, similar styles, and an honest dead end — how the alternative search actually works.
A work in progress, with a person behind it

Looksy can get a match wrong. An alternative should be labelled as an alternative—and every shopping link should lead to a real listing.
